Trescott Street Gallery & Gift Shoppe is excited to announce the launch of The Storybook Studio, an engaging new monthly, creative workshop designed for young children and their parents/guardians. Starting February 28th, these unique events will combine storytelling with artmaking, allowing young artists to immerse themselves in art-inspired tales and create their own masterpieces.

The Storybook Studio offers a one-of-a-kind experience in an active art gallery where children listen to captivating stories and then get to connect the stories to hands-on, age-appropriate art activities. Each session will focus on a different theme, encouraging children to explore their imaginations and express their creativity in a fun, supportive environment. The focus will be on the process of creating art, not the end product.

The workshop is presented by Eileen Kelleher, a Master's level Early Childhood Specialist. Eileen has more than 20 years of experience working with young children & families and has three children of her own.

The Storybook Studio is perfect for young artists ages 3-5 and is a fun, educational activity for anyone looking to introduce children to the joy of art and stories. Children should come ready to get messy. Workshops are limited to 12 children per session. Adults should be prepared to be actively involved in the workshop; this is not a drop-off event.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are accepted up to one week prior to the event for a full refund. After that time, we are unable to offer a refund, but we’re happy to provide a credit for a future workshop. Thank you for your understanding!
